Emergency? For life-threatening emergencies (fire, gas leak, flooding), call 911 immediately. For urgent maintenance emergencies, check the emergency box on the Maintenance Request form and we will prioritise your request. Outside business hours, also email placide@pbuniverse.ca with "EMERGENCY" in the subject line.

Where Your Payment Terms Are Set Out

Your lease agreement specifies the rent amount, the due date and the accepted payment methods for your tenancy. Because arrangements differ between properties, we confirm payment details individually rather than publishing one method here.

Question about your rent or payment method? Email placide@pbuniverse.ca or call 204-804-2532 during business hours (Mon–Sun, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT) and we will confirm the details that apply to your tenancy in writing.

Property & Tenancy Information

A few things worth knowing while you're renting from a P.B Universe managed property.

  • Your lease is the reference document. Rent, term, notice periods and payment method are all set out in the agreement you signed.
  • Manitoba law applies. Residential tenancies in Manitoba are governed by the Residential Tenancies Act and administered by the Residential Tenancies Branch.
  • Inspections are scheduled with notice. Move-in, periodic and move-out inspections are arranged in advance, with proper notice as required.
  • Alterations need written approval. Please put any request to modify or improve the unit in writing before starting work.
  • Moving out. Written notice is required — check your lease for the notice period that applies, and let us know so we can arrange the move-out inspection.
